Tulalip Tribal Prosecutor’s Office

The Tulalip Tribes’ Prosecutor’s Office is a division of the Office of the
Reservation Attorney. Tribal prosecutors are primarily responsible for
enforcing tribal criminal laws and for providing legal counsel to the
        Tulalip Police Department.

It is the mission of the Prosecutor’s Office to do justice. We strive to:
        • Protect the right of every member of the Tulalip community to work, raise a
family, and engage in community life in a safe and healthy environment.
        • Embrace restorative justice principles – accountability, dialog,
            healing, and reintegration.
        • Uphold the dignity, liberty, and constitutional rights of all people.
        • Develop collaborative and innovative solutions for the Tulalip
            community.
        • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the Tulalip Tribes.

Tulalip Prosecutors are committed to handling cases referred to them in a
fair, vigorous, and efficient manner in the pursuit of just outcomes for all
whose cases are before the court.
Presently, Sharon Jones Hayden serves as Chief Prosecutor and
prosecutes Domestic/Family Violence and Sexual Assault cases.
Brian Kilgore prosecutes general crimes and provides leadership to
the Wellness Court project. Megan James prosecutes general crimes
and represents bədaʔchəlh in child welfare matters.
